Vandals attack Anish Kapoor’s vagina – but is it a sphincter?

Some Parisians are in a lather about Anish Kapoor’s large scale sculptures recently installed in the Versailles gardens. Things got heated when Kapoor reportedly described one piece as “the Queen’s vagina”. Apart from the title joining in the body parts theme this piece provides a calm defence of supposedly “offensive” art.
