Art critic Jerry Saltz suspended from Facebook

Jerry Saltz is an art critic with a large social media following who also happens to be married to New York Times art critic Roberta Smith. Criticized for posting images on Facebook that are in bad taste, he has in turn pushed back against social media correctness. Now he has been banned from posting to Facebook, apparently having breached its rules of etiquette. “One of art’s great weapons is its bad taste — how something can seem ugly, wrong, or off but still help extend art.”
